A fabulous signed R. Lalique bowl a main in the very rare Vigne Striee pattern introduced in 1920. Intertwined vines and grapes molded on the clear glass base are accented with a beautiful blue enamel beneath extensive fine ribbing on the exterior walls. The bowl measures approximately 4 7/8 in (12 cm) in diameter and stands 2 3/8 inches (6 cm) tall. The bowl is listed as a rare piece by Marcilhac, #3101. We cannot find any flaws: the enamel is original and t are no chips, cracks, scratches, or signs of repair. This bowl is in excellent condition. The signature, R Lalique, is molded in raised letters on the glass base as pictured. Pictures 1,3, & 4 were taken in natural light while the others are flash aided.
