I am liquidating some interesting collections for an estate and will be listing breweriana, old Coca~Cola, and other rare and authentic items so be sure to view my other listings and stick with me for a few days! I will gladly combine shipping to save you $$$! You are bidding on a metal (assuming it is tin) Coca~Cola sign from the 1920's. The sign is framed in an antique wooden frame that was painted black. T is no glass. Measurements in the frame are 24 5/8 inches X 7.25 inches X .75 inches. I would guess that unframed the sign would be approximately 23.75 X 6.25 inches. The bright red background is outlined in a tiny white pinstripe around the edge. This pinstripe has been covered by the frame on the right hand side. The beautiful white-outlined-in-black lettering reads: DRINK COCA~COLA IN BOTTLES 5c. These letters are embossed (raised). On the tail of the first C, underneath the a is printed: TRADE MARK REGISTERED. In the bottom right hand corner is printed: Stelad Signs Passaic Metalware Co., Passaic, N.J. PROVENANCE: The gentleman who owned this sign was a former Coca~Cola exec and a collector of OLD Coca~Cola items.
