This is a spectacular vintage soup terriane from Harker, the oldest Pottery co in America. They started production in the 1870's. I would date this piece to around the 1920's, but it may be older. It has a wonderful old Victorian prnt on the side of the terraine and the cover, and also the matching ladle. The ladle itself is a wonderful additiona s it is often lost or broken over the years. Bottom is stamped HOTOVEN CHINAWARE HARKEN, meaning this can go into the oven and probably has, looking at the cover. The bowl itself is in excellent condition as well as the ladle. While the cver has no damage either, it is idscolored and crazed. But this is still an old and rare piece to find.
