Available at auction for your consideration is the rare and unique Antique/Vintage Toaster.This is model number E 9422, manufactured in the 1920's by "LANDERS, FRARY & CLARK" of New Britian, CN. and marketed under the Trademark Known in every Home , "UNIVERSAL".Comprised of a Nickel Plating over Brass that is absent any dents, dings, rust or pitting and displays the most beautiful Patina that can only be achieved with Nickel. Black Bakelite Carrying Handle, Toaster Door Handle, Brownness Control Knob and Push down Lever are all present and in excellent condition w/o chips, cracks, splits or hairlines. Also present are the four Bakelite Feet that are also in great condition. With the push of a button, the Toaster Door opens and you insert your bread. You then adjust the Browness Control Lever between 1-7. Then, push the long lever down until it is stopped by the Browness Control Lever. This turns on the current. Listen now, you will hear the ticking of the Clockwork Timing Mechanism as your Toast is browning. When the Toast has obtained that golden brown you desire, the door pops opens automatically and Wahh-Laa. Your bread has toasted on both sides at the same time.
