is another fantastic piece from my personal collection of over 500 antique Peterson pipes. Every pipe I have in my current collection is quite rare; I long ago divested myself of all Shamrocks, lower grades, and more common Peterson models. I am going to part with a select number of pipes, so please watch my upcoming auctions and please feel free to email me at with any questions. All of the pieces I will auction in the upcoming months will be high grades, hallmarked pieces, very old pipes, or other rare Peterson collectibles.

This one is a 1929 hallmarked Peterson System - stamped "Peterson's" over "System" over a "2" in a circle on one side, with nothing stamped on the opposite side.

The silver ferrule is clearly stamped " K & P" over the Dublin hallmarks for 1929, with "PETERSON" over "DUBLIN" stamped alongside in smaller, blockletters.

This pipe is in extremely good condition with only minimal evidence of use on the bowl & finish. It is stained in the classic 1930s Peterson plum color, and the pipe is ~ 6.25" from heel to tip, with the bowl ~ 2" tall x 1.25" wide at top.

The rim of the bowl has some dings on the right side, but the exterior has been buffed & polished, and it looks quite good.

The bowl displays a nice cross grain, and it is stained in the dark plum color typical of Peterson pipes of the era.

The stem is in excellent condition, but has a few slight nicks on the base of the stem. It is black and shines well.

This pipe is truly in excellent condition. It is as clean as a whistle and the stampings are exceptionally clear.
