NEVER seen ANOTHER SET..............This KiLLER circa 1930's McKEE white glass Roman Arch style range shaker set is offered FRESH from our LARGE personal Depression era kitchenware collection - GUARANTEED to be old, authentic, and as represented....bought these years ago in Quebec , Canada . They feature crisp FRENCH lettering along with great SUPER ART DECO graphics and a small badge or crest which reads " L'islet " . Shakers include SEL ( Salt ) ~ POiVRE ( Pepper ) ~ FARiNE ( Flour ) ~ and ~ SUCRE ( Sugar ) which come on their original cast iron / white porcelain rack . In excellent vintage condition they measure approx. 4 1/4" high by 2 1/4" wide and ALL four are free from chips, cracks, repairs or restorations with typical minor rim roughness - Sugar has a couple tiny rough spots on the threading , the other three are clean . The crest on Flour shows a small miss in the making. The original screw tops show typical wear but overall MUCH cleaner than you normally see ! The porcelain rack measures approx. 11 1/2" wide across the bottom by 4 3/4" high and is very secure - looks as though it's never been apart - free from breaks or cracks . T's a tiny spot of porcelain loss to the right hand bottom corner and wear to the bottom left hand edge.....a GREAT inclusion all the same : ) BEAUTiFUL - interesting French Deco examples and additions for your McKEE / shaker / Depression era kitchenware collection offered with a reasonable BuY iT NOW given age, condition and RARiTY....we always LiST To SELL !!! We are just starting to liquidate our entire kitchenware collection as we're in the process of downsizingfrom a generous 3800 square foot home to roughly 1500 feet and justcan't keep everything. TRULY wouldn't be parting with it otherwise : ) Most of our collection was acquired during the 1970's - 1980's when pieces were far more plentiful and this quality collection includes SEVERAL one of a kind and ultra rare examples - some of which were photographed for various reference books over the years ( incl. Gene Florence's - " Kitchen Glassware of the Depression Years " ) . Most of the collection is in white, black, clambroth and custard ( along with a few anomalies : ) and we will be listing a little every day so don't miss this RARE opportunity to acquire some truly scarce and unusual examples . Please stay tuned and stop by often - ALL MUST GO ! OUR MISSION STATEMENT : Most treasures are from our PC ( personal collection ). Some items will be expensive , some items will not . All will have merit . Having decided to move to greener pastures and higher ground , everything must go . We will be offering a vast array of eclectic antiques and collectibles from estates , houses , farms , barns , apts. , old store closings and God knows w .....it's been so long since we've seen some items we can't even remember ! We will not run anything if it needs our apologies.....those items will end up at our local Saturday night auction w ( by the look of E-bay these day's ) , someone else will buy them and probably run them on e-bay :o ) Having been in the estate liquidation business full time for 28 years , we have always had our first pick , so t will be some surprises......Stay tuned and check back often . Please , on a personal note , don't give my wife a hard time ( as she has a heart of gold ) and IS NOT an E-bay slave . You'll find I'm tough , cantankerous , straight forward , occasionally funny , politically correct only by accident and always fair . My wife is laughing at me cuz she say's I may not be able to spell cantankerous but I sure can act it ! : ) Try to remember at the end of the day it's all JUST STUFF and IT IS WHAT IT IS . May the God of your choice bless you and thanks kindly for looking !
