RARE 1930's VENINI MURANO DOVE with ACID STAMP MARK ~NO RESERVE~Up for bidding is a beautifully crafted Venini dove attributed to Tyra Lundgren, c.1930-35. The piece has a thickly blown iridescent coral pink body with applied and combed wings. Dove is nicely marked on base with an acid stamp that reads "Venini Murano MADE IN ITALY". Dimensions: Approximately 11 inches in length with a height of 5.5 inches and weight of 3.94 pounds. Condition: Beautiful overall condition with no cracks or repairs to the body with only a few flea bite chips to the ground edge on the tail feathers (w the blowpipe had once been attached and then ground and polished) and a very small chip on the ground base by the acid stamp. Both are only visible under very close examination and do not take anything away from the piece. Please see photos. Shipping (double boxed) with insurance within the US will be $15.00.
