Rare Austin American Bantam Promotional Token From 1937 Own a piece of American automotive history! This is a promotional token from 1937 that was given out by Austin Bantam dealerships to promote the Austin Bantam 60 automobile. This auto was promoted during the Great Depression as America's only economy car.The coin has a 1937 wheat penny inset in an aluminum token. The head of the token states "Good For 2 Miles in a Bantam 60". The tail side states "Keep Me for Good Luck", " Americas ONLY Economy Car" This token is in great condition as pictured in the photo below. The inset wheat penny is uncirculated with a patina from handling and age.
