First off, the coloring in person is about 100% better. It's more vivid, and the top right portion of the pin does NOT look lighter in person like it does in the scan (I'm thinking the scanner light glared off the top), but you'll have to bear with me since my scanner is around 12 years old. The sky in this pin is the same color throughout. This scarce 1939-1940 (I'm thinking 1940 but Hake's guide says 1939) premium button was a giveaway by the Bureau of Public Relations / American Dental Association. As for the condition, wow. The front appears to be from the higher excellent to NM range. The back is Excellent, and I'm only saying that because it has a SMALL bit of edge wear on ONE side of the metal rim, and even then it's barely noticable. None of my scanner pictures in any of my auctions brought the true conditions to life in my scans, so I'm more than 100% that you won't be disappointed in anything you see that I'm selling. According to Hake's 6th edition guide, this is $125 just in GOOD condition, $250 in excellent condition, and $500 in NM condition. I'm starting this out at 149.99 and letting it ride, but I'm personally grading this between excellent and NM, leaning closer to NM, so have fun bidding! It's as rare as hen's teeth, and notice the original backpaper from the Chicago Illinois Dental Association---if you ever found this pin, do you really ever think you'd find that? This would make a great Christmas gift for that special Disney lover in your life, so just bid! Terms: Must add extra for priority mail shipping and insurance, which will be $4.05 for priority mail shipping plus whatever it will cost for insurance. I can't determine an insurance amount until I know what it sells for. Paypal payments only, only to verified Paypal users, and I will only ship to verified shipping addresses. Payment must be made within 5 business days of the end of the auction. Sorry for such strict terms, but after being a seller for the last 7-8 years, I've found this is the only way to protect myself as a seller under Paypal's Seller Protection Policy. Anyway, this is a great item, so be sure to put it on your watch list, and just bid!
