This is a RARE 1949-50 Zippo Full Leather pocket lighter. This model has leather covering the entire lighter including the top and the bottom and was manufactured between 1949 and 1954. It has a gold-leaf border and the word "Zippo" is stylized in gold lettering on the bottom of the lighter. These were available in Genuine Hand-Burnished Calfskin or Imported English Morocco. This Zippo is a green color. The front shows the classic gold initials. The leather shows a small amount of wear especially on a portion of the front bottom edge and the top back edge. The original Nickel insert has the Zippo 2032695 full stamp. It is fairly clean and has a very strong large hump cam spring, stiff gray wick, hollow flint wheel rivet, and the flint tube is open and has no obstructions. I feel I have taken some pretty good pictures so you will be able to see exactly what you are bidding on.
