Extremely rare offering for the Henry Fonda memorabilia collector and fan! This is an original period oil painting that was discovered in a recent estate proceeding. After careful and very long research I was not able to verify who the artist is ( Saito S. ) nor could I find any other works by this artistâe(tm)s name. If anyone is familiar with this artist please email and let me know. I also have not been able date the painting however I believe it was produced from an actual photo from a mid-50âe(tm)s. Life magazine high lighted the release of Henry Fondaâe(tm)s famous movie MR. ROBERTS on June 6, 1955. The painting had once been mounted in a wooden frame and has since been rolled plus at times even folded for storage. I have taken the best pictures of the painting as I could for its detail and quality. Should you want any further pictures please let me know. The painting is on VERY old canvas 15âex18âeand will be shipped rolled and in a shipping tube for its protection.
