This very rare,1974 vintage, light blue, corded, Western Electric/Bell System touch tone card dialer desk telephone is in mint physical condition . It comes complete with 39 new dialer cards (I used 1 for testing), a full set of alphabet tab cards, and instruction manual (cover badly bug eaten, but all readable).
The touch-tone dialer and ringer do not work , but the card dialer does. I called the phone from my cell phone and it works for speaking and hearing. The beautiful blue finish is completely undamaged and shows no wear, though the mouthpiece is a bit yellowed. It looks like this phone was never used and was acquired in the original shipping box (bad shape). Both the handset and wall cords are hard-wired. This truly cool phone is designed for use as a standard touch-tone phone or numbers can be dialed with the plastic cards that you punch out (don't leave any hanging chads!). This dialer works fine, just push your prepared card down in the slot and push the Start button and voila! Sadly, since the touch-tone dialer doesn't work, this method will not complete a call either. Please ask any questions or request more photos.
