This is one of the earliest Wee Forest Folk sculptures. It was made in 1975 by Annette Petersen and retired in 1979. This piece, M-7, is of two girl mice, with one holding a candle. One mouse is wearing a yellow dress with blue polka dots; the other one is wearing a blue dress. Both are wearing white aprons. They have pipe cleaner tails and are on a wooden base. T was a slight crack between the two faces, and at the advice of the people at Wee Forest Folk, I sent it to their "doctor" who repaired it. While the crack was barely visible, it now looks brand new. T are no other flaws. Any shiny spots in the pictures are a result of the camera flash. I do not have the original box, but I will include a mint-condition box, dated 1993. Please email me with any questions. Sold as is.

For anyone who may be interested in this item, I wanted to clarify my description. The repair on this piece is undetectable. The "mouse doctor" who repaired the small crack let me know that it is now virtually new. It looks like it is mint and brand new -- and I could have listed this piece as "mint", but honesty is the best policy for me, and I would not list it without disclosing the repair. The Wee Forest Folk Collecters Club informed me that the repair does not lower the value of the piece at all. This piece is described on their web site and lists what its value is today. If t are any other specific pictures you would like to see, please email me, and I will send them to you.
