A VERY SPECIAL COLLECTIBLE A real piece of Disney history! Many people collect the special signs that Disneyland displays thruout the park for special events that usually run for the season or the entire year. This sign was produced for use during the 1984 celebration of Donald's 50th Birthday at Disneyland. Typically hung on the lamp posts along Main Street and other areas, these signs often have two or more bolt holes for attatchment (as this one does). Made from an extremely durable and weather resistant PVC plastic so it can withstand months of exposure to the elements and continue to look new. Produced in very limited quantities for use only in the park, these were typically sold to cast members after removal from service. This one is very hard to find, as few collectors are willing to part with it. Approx size of 18" across the "Happy Birthday" lettering. Condition is exceptionally good on this item, showing only minimal evidence of usage.
