In overall superb condition! HISTORY: ALEXANDRINA VICTORIA was the only child of Edward the Duke of Kent and Victoria Maria Louisa of Saxe-Coburg. She was born on May 24, 1819. She married her cousin Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg in 1840 and gave birth to nine children. She was a conservative and believed that if she did not pursue BritainÃ,Â's best interest, it was not only wrong but close to treachery. Queen Victoria died at her home on the Isle of Wight on January 22, 1901. KING EDWARD was born in Buckingham Palace in 1841and was the oldest son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. He married Alexandra the oldest daughter of King Kristian IX of Denmark in 1863 and they had six children. Edward became king on the death of his mother, Queen Victoria in 1901 at the age of 59. Seems he was an adventure with many bad habits. He was the first member of the royal family to visit the USA. Upon his return he was involved in a scandal with an Irish actress. His father died a few weeks later and Queen Victoria blamed her son for his fatherÃ,Â's death, never able to look at him the same again. King Edward was a conservative and was extremely disappointed when in 1906 the General Election brought the Liberals to power. He died at Buckingham Palace on May 06, 1910 giving reign to his son King George V. We accept all major credit cards including American Express, PayPal Payments and Postal Money Orders.
