If you've been fortunate enough to stumble upon my listings lately you know I've been working with a very few rare finds from a very fine estate collection in beautiful Greenwich CT. I have a few limited pieces from this collector's treasure trove and when they're gone that's it. Like the others in this collection, this ring would retail in the many many thousands of dollars and something like this would be found only in the finest galleries and collections in the world. As rare as it is beautiful... is one of the most sought after and highly coveted gems on the world market - a fabulous and large VVS Paraiba Tourmaline!!! I'm very excited to tell you all about it--- first this is a remarkable and very fancy emerald cut stone with beautiful faceting, the cut being utilized to show off the exceptional luster of this gem, which is classified as "dazzling." The vivid turquoise blue glistening within the deeper sea blue color is a function of the copper bearing rare Paraiba Tourmaline. You'd have to see this effect in person to fully appreciate its beauty. You connoisseurs and collectors know what I'm talking about. It has beautiful coloration, electric neon flash and is extremely clean and sparkling! The central gemstone has been professionally assayed at a whopping 1.6 Carats..very rare to find a specimen like this in this high carat weight. It is simply gorgeous. And all around the perimeter of this stone are incredibly outstanding G/H;VS1 genuine round diamonds!!!! The look is simply incomparable! T are .40 Carats of diamonds in this masterpiece ring which is crafted in solid and extremely hefty 14 Karat White Gold, as hallmarked ("585" the designation for 14K). THIS RING WEIGHS 6.3 GRAMS! TALK ABOUT SUBSTANCE... THIS IS BUILT LIKE A TANK .... AND AGAIN... 2 CARATS OF RARE PARAIBA TOURMALINE AND HIGHEST QUALITY DIAMONDS! IT JUST DOESN'T GET BETTER THAN THIS! MY CUSTOMERS HAVE COME TO KNOW THE QUALITY OF THE PIECES I FEATURE. The electrifying centerpiece of the diamond setting measures 12mm high (1/2") X 11.5mm across. The sparkling gems are vaulted in the setting 6mm for the perfect and dramatic rise above the finger in this most alluring of settings. The beautifully crafted grooved shoulders are 5mm wide and taper gracefully to 3mm across the back. This showstopper ring is a size 6 3/4 and it may be sized up or down by your jeweler if need be to fit any finger of either hand.
