is another beautiful piece of stoneware that is rarely seen from Northern Maine. It is emossed E. MERRITT & SONS HOULTON FORT FAIRFIELD & CARIBOU. This jug looks great!!! It has nice deep blue embossing, This is a terrific jug, with a great handle, no lines, or cracks. The only noteable damage to this beauty are a couple small inside the rim chips, and a super tiny one on the right outer lip. I could barely get it photographed, but I like to be completely thorough! I have photographed each angle to show you its beauty! I have placed a reserve on this beauty to protect my investment. Good Maine stoneware is becoming increasingly harder to find, so buy it now before it gets sucked into another collection. I will be listing several more pieces in the next few days and weeks ahead, including more rare stoneware bottles from Maine.
