Rare 52cm, Rosenthal Porcelain Amazon on Horse Figurine She is in Mint Condition and stands over 21" tall! Amazone auf Pferd We are pleased to offer this wonderful figurine, in this week's auctions. This is the most amazing Rosenthal, porcelain figurine that we have ever had the privilege of owning. Words do not come close to describing the striking beauty of the lady, mounted on the powerfully sculpted Arabian stallion. a few more pictures for you to enjoy. WOW! This would make a perfect Christmas gift for that special horse or German figurine collector on your shopping list. The base of the figurine is marked with familiar, green under glaze Rosenthal, Selb Bavaria mark. This mark was used between 1909 and 1956. We believe this stunning figurine was designed by Anton Grath and first produced in 1918. It is huge, standing at over 21 inches tall (52.5 cm) and 20 inches wide (50 cm). She weighs over 10 lbs. T are no chips, cracks, repairs or restorations. She is as perfect now as when she was first purchased. We will pack her in a specially designed, foam filled packing crate with adequate protection for the lady's arm and other delicate parts. This crate will be again packed in a very large over pack to cushion it while it is in transit. Unfortunately, this will make the overall packing dimensions too large to ship to a lot of countries so please check your size limitations before bidding. We do not think it can be safely shipped overseas in a outer box smaller than 108 inches. Shipping in the US will not be a problem, but it will be expensive, considering the overall size of the outer pack and the insurance requirements. We can ship via FexEx express if one desires this mode. We estimate that the cost to ship to Germany via this mode will be in excess of $360 (26" X 26" X 20", weighing 45 lbs). It may be a little less once we have the item packaged and know the exact package dimensions and weight We do not mark up the shipping but we will add a small amount to the cost to cover the crating and packing materials.
