A rare opportunity to own a Fireplace Size (Life Size), 1969 Beswick England Porcelain Sitting DACHSHUND DOG Statue. These pieces are just not seen that much anymore, if at all! This guy is 10 3/4" tall x 13" long x 7" wide and weighs 3lbs 11 0z. He is done in a shaded glossy finish and is a "RED" Dachshund, a very well known Doxie color. Gorgeous detailed eyes, toenails, texturing to the coat & muscles! and nice shading. He is in Exceptional condition. Very well taken care of and it shows! He has just a bit of light crazing on the bottom near the airhole and the "Beswick England" signature, which I have included a photo of. He has no chips, cracks, repairs or flaws! He is a true beauty! I have added felt pads to the bottom to protect the finish from damage. They are easily removable. Please, only serious offers! Insurance is required. He will be very well packed to help ensure a safe delivery.
