For your consideration in as found condition is this superb A. Lincoln spelter statue. This was just recovered from years in proper storage. I very ever use the word 'rare' but in this case I think it applies. Although not perfect, (please study photos) the likeness displays itself very good. The chair has seen some repair and I just bet that he once held a writing instrument (again, please study photos) in his right hand. What caught my eye was his left hand holding the "Emancipation Proclamation". The statue is approx. 10 1/2" tall and approx. 9" at its widest. An Abraham Lincoln item that would enhance the most discriminating collection. Don't forget to check out my other auctions.....thanks and good luck, TLKAY
