Rare Aesthetic 1860 Antique Brown Transferware Teapot !

One Hundred and Forty-Six Years Old! You are going to Love this! This fabulous Aesthetic period teapot has NO chips or cracks or repairs! This elaborate brown transferware design is found on both sides of this teapot, and on the handle, spout, and lid! The backstamp is a mark found in 'Kovels' New Dictionary of Marks' book, page 59. The same mark in the book is shown for 'C&H' (Cockson & Harding, Staffordshire, England, 1856-1862), while this teapot is by 'W F & R' (?) The pattern name 'TUNIS' is found in the oval mark. T is a capital 'Z' also found on the bottom, and I found that this letter is for the year of manufacturer, 1860! This estate piece was a rare and exciting find, especially rare with No chips or cracks at this age! This tea pot is certain to be a thrilling acquisition for the collector!
Measures about 7" in total height, 5 9/16" in diameter, and 8 3/8" in length from spout to handle. The circumference near the base is 17 1/2".
