Albert Robin Cognac Rarest French Champagne: Thanks for showing an interest in my ebay auction. For your bidding pleasure I am offering this Rare find which may be worth hundreds. Dont know much about the age but it appears to be no dates. Shows signs of aging and build up on the bottle. Front of bottle says " Cognac Grande Fine Champagne the Rarest Antique Reserve N0. 100" 0.70 litre 40% Vol. Could possibly have a date but the build up on the bottle is quite thick. Bottom of bottle reads: 0.7, SG , and the letters AF. Back of the bottle's label Reads: " The Cognac Brandy contained in this bottle comes from the Reserve of our estates the foundation of which takes place about the year 1575, as the documents of the Paris National Library duly testify it. This Estate, the Chateau de la Morinerie, is situated in the center of the Cognac district. The label of this bottle is the reproduction of an old engraving found out in the records of the Chateau de la Morinerie, on which the King of France Henry IV (1560-1610) is shown accompanied by his prime minister Sully, tasting with one of his coutiers and farmers of the Chateau a Charente district Brandy distilled at that time and which was called "Cognac" during the 17th Century.
