Great original depression glass salt and pepper shakers in the American Sweetheart pattern. The color is called monax and is a white milky glass with semi-translucent edges. The body of the shakers is decorated, in raised relief, with the American Sweetheart pattern (though I could not clearly capture this on my photos). The shakers are each about 4" tall. They are in very good condition with no chips or cracks (just the usual depression glass mold roughness, bubbles etc). The metal tops are in very good condition though they have some corrosion and wear. These shakers, by McBeth-Evans, are very hard to find and list for over $400 for the pair!! I am listing these with NO RESERVE and hope that all of you collectors will take the opportunity to get a bargain for the holidays!!! Buyer will pay the cost of shipping and insurance ($8 to anyw within the USA - international shipping costs will vary with destination). I prefer payment through PayPal but I will also accept personal checks, money orders and credit cards (either through PayPal or directly to me). International payment through PayPal or credit cards only.
