For auction is a fairly rare Anchor Hocking Royal Ruby wine bottle. It is the 4/5ths quart bottle - mold #9787-A. The bottle is excellent - shiney, no scratches, no dings, dents, cracks, knicks, etc. The color is outstanding - deep royal ruby, even color throughout the bottle. The picture doesn't begin to do it justice. The bottom reads "Royal Ruby Anchorglass" and has the familiar Anchor over H emblem. T is a number 5 and a number 50 on the bottom, signifying that the bottle was made at plant #5, in the year 1950. The mold #9787-A is on the bottom as well. Around the base of the bottle it reads, "4/5 Quart." This bottle can be seen in my book, More Royal Ruby , on page 44. This is the genuine article and the only the second one we have seen. Bid with confidence. We are the Anchor Hocking Glass Museum, and we are dedicated to fighting fraudulent and misleading glassware auctions on eBay. Please ask questions before bidding. Please view my other auctions for more Anchor Hocking glassware, Wheaton table accessories and Harley Davidson motorcycle parts. Now for the boring stuff. Insurance is strongly recommended, as I will not be responsible for damage done by the post office. I only ship USPS, and do not ship internationally. Right now, I only ship on weekends. Please pay within 10 days or notify me for special arrangements if t is a problem. We reserve the right to refuse bids from those with excessively negative feedback. HAVE FUN BIDDING! GOOD LUCK.
