No reserve on this scarce early typewriter with original box. It has gold stenciled letters at top bar that reads - Sun Type-Writer Patented Apr 5 1885. It is in overall excellent condition with bright paint and original gold stenciled stars. It appears to be intact and working, though I am not familiar with this machine. It also appears that it was hardly used then tucked away all these years in its original dovetailed box. The typewriter measures 12" long and the top is 7 1/4" wide. The box is also nice with original sliding lid, though a bit dirty inside. It measures 13" x 9 3/4" x 4 3/4".
