Up for auction is a beautiful brilliant cast/pressed glass LARGE AMERICAN VICTORIAN CAKE PLATE, 8 1/4" TALL AND 10" ACROSS. It has a hand holding a fancy handle. No chips or cracks. This is a hard to find piece in any condition, let alone this condition. All the glass I have listed is from the high end estate of the Professor of Cardio Surgery at the University of Wisconsin. Please see pictures and please check out my other auctions for more great stuff; Lots of old glass, reel-to-reel tapes (some never recorded on), a lot of vintage models, old car brochures and of course a great selection of whatchamacallit's. If I missed something and it is important to you, please let me know and I will get those pictures out to you or answer your question in a timely fashion. Insurance is optional, but I will not be responsible for your item once it is shipped and I will always provide proof of shipping in the form of a postal receipt. I do flat rate shipping, I do not pack an item before it is sold and in doing such, I don't know the exact weight for shipping. I do a guess-ta-ment and provide a shipping cost. This allows me to provide; a immediate invoice or none at all, no surprises for shipping cost to you and I'm able to answer all questions and take more pictures of an item if necessary. Sometimes I lose a buck and sometimes I make a buck, it all evens out. You're always welcome to pickup and item at my house. The USPS insurance rates are; $1.35 for the first $50.00 (ebay requires me to put an insurance cost in the box, if the item you buy sold for more than $50.00 adjust the cost as appropriate), $2.20 for items $50.01 - $100 and then $1.00 more for each $100.00 (i.e. item sells for $220.00, the cost of insurance would be $4.40).
