What an unusual item. This is an approximately 2 1/2 gal cast iron aquarium in the original paint. It is well over 70+ years old. This rare item is shaped like a school house and has been tested and does hold water. It weighs approximately 27lbs. I personally have never come across an item like this before. The roof (lid) lifts off for cleaning and t is room to run a circulating pump cord thru the end of the aquarium. T is no pump or other accessories available. Even if you don't use it for fish, it is certainly a unique cast iron decorative. Because of the weight, shipping will be determined at auction end. Professional packaging and shipping has been estimated at $80. This may vary and may be negotiable depending on final selling price.
