A rare antique De Haven Diplomat combined razor and stopping set in the orginal hard case box. High quality Art Deco stainless steel razor is in near mint condition with original unused blade. Razor marked De Haven and Pat. 1718219 ( Patent date for 1929). Razor is 4" long. case has metal tag inside lid marked "De Haven Diplomat made at Kempf Mechanical Laboratory Sole Licensee New York." Case also contains a tin marked "De Haven Honing Compound". Tin is 1" diameter. Case is 5" by 3" by 1 1/2". This was a high end very Deco industrial art design item when new.
