This listing is for a EC rare antique Dugan Art Glass rose bowl in canary marigold Stippled Estate. Stippled Estate vases are probably the best examples of Dugan Art Glass known to Carnival collectors. They also can be found in aqua, lime green, amethyst, canary and vaseline. With close inspection the stippled estate mold pattern can also be found in vases worked in other shapes, see the beautiful shiny gold colors in this one. It's one of those pieces you like to pick up and look at all different times of the day it's got so much personality. T are no chips or cracks, a few bubbles and a couple straw marks, but nothing major or unusual, it's EC. This collar footed beauty is 5 inches wide, 4.5 inches tall from foot to ruffled edge, and 3.5 inches deep in the bowl itself. This one is rare, I read in the David Doty book that he knew rosebowls existed but had never seen one. I got this one from Australia in a huge lot that I bought on Ebay. All carnival glass pieces are individual (no two are alike really) works of art and can be looked at and enjoyed for generations. This is the year of Fenton! It's hard to believe, but Carnival Glass is one hundred years old this year. Fenton introduced Carnival in 1907 and Northwood, Imperial, Dugan/Diamond, and Millersburg soon followed. Fenton is the only one of these companies to have survived. **Please check out the other items we have listed.
