For your consideration is an excellent example of a 175 year old OGEE clock. George Marsh manufactured clocks in Winstead Conn. from 1828 to 1831 making this clock a rather rare find. The scene on the lower glass panel is of Ballston Springs N.Y. taken from a drawing by W.H. Bartlett. The entire clock, as far as I can tell, is original and complete. Condition is very good with only a few small chips of the veneer missing, the label on the inside is almost completely intact. The movement was cleaned and oiled, also the weights restrung on 10/15/2006. It has been tested and runs great.
