This is an absolutley wonderful 6 pc Gorham Sterling Silver Coffee and Tea Set in an unknown pattern. The pattern is a lovely floral and ribbon pattern with a monogram that appears to be "BCJ." All 6 pcs are marked with the Gorham lion, anchor, G in cartouche, and Sterling. This set is heavy, thick, weighty robust etc.. When you pick up a piece you know by the attention to detail, overall graceful design and robustness that you have a quality piece of sterling in your hand. Gorham produced some very high quality items and this set is spot on! Additional markings and physical characteristics: The water kettle on warmer stand is marked 3280, 2 3/4 pint, 11 inches high plus handle. Original warmer. Minor vintage repair to handle made with wire...I thought it was charming so I left it! (Can be professionally repaired very inexpensively! Just needs a pin.) The creamer is marked 3280 and 5/8 pint measuring about 4 1/2 inches high. The lidded sugar bowl is marked 3280 and is 5.75 inches high. The waist bowl is marked 3280 it is about 3 1/2 inches high. The teapot is marked 3280, 1 1/2 pint, it is about 7.25 inches high. The coffee pot is marked 3280, 2 pints, it is 8.75 inches high. Condition: Aside from a few minor dings that do not detract from the beauty of the set, it is overall in very good condition!! This is a set to be cherished!!
