RARE! Antique Italian Bisque Romeo & Juliet Statues

I am selling these for my Great Aunt who's parents owned an antique store in San Diego, CA until 1984, when they closed it down and moved back to Texas. They are both deceased now. These are statues of Romeo & Juliet. They are approxiamately 50 years old. They each stand 19" tall, hand-painted made of a heavy Italian bisque. They both are in mint conditon, without chips, cracks, bubbles, missing fingers, scrapes or missing paint.They stand on a base 6 1/2" X 5". The base is pale yellow with a pale pink stripe around it and trimmed in gold at the top. W the feet are planted is a sculptured-style light green. Romeo's base has a light pink and white rose with green leaves, and what appears to be two small white stones. He is standing with his rear leaning on a sculptured brown tree trunk, which has green leaves on it. He is wearing a pale pink featherd hat with white trim. The hat has a small area of shiny gold on the front. He has sculptured long, curly gray-brown hair, shoulder-length. His eyes are blue and lips are light orange. Beautiful eyebrows and facial features. He is wearing a pale yelllow long-sleeved shirt that has another white pleated shirt underneath, peeking out the top. Square neckline of gray, off-shite, and tiny bits of light orange. His yellow shirt is covered in maroon flowers with gold centers that have two colors of green leaves around them. These are on the longsleeves as well. Down the front of the shirt is a baby blue wide stripe, trimmed in gold with a beautiful gold design down the front. He is wearing a light pink sculptured belt with white centers and tiny gold beads around it, which extends all the way around to the back. He has a brown leather-look buckled strap around his shoulder that extends across his chest and around his back. The top of the sleeves and the waist also have the same sculptured gray, white, and orange band, the same as his collar. The back of his sleeves have a light pink bow at the shoulder and white ruffels that extend out all the way down the sleeves. Just above the cuffs is a baby blue area with lines, trimmed in gold and has a gold emblem/design on it. His cuffs are white and ruffeled. At his left side is a gold sword inside a black and white case. The bottom of the case is gold. The case for the sword has a small sculpture in white of a face, looks like a woman's face. Below his shirt, he is wearing pink and white striped sculptured bloomers, trimmed in gold. Beneath the "bloomers", he is wearing ivory-colored tights that have stripes of light pink and gold stipes with tiny gold beads streaming down each gold stripe. His shoes are brown with a pale blue flower on the top. The flowers have a tiny gold bead in the center. On his left little finger, he is wearing a emerld green-colored stone ring with a gold band. He is simply the most handsome man yu've ever seen!Now Juliet: Her base is exactly like the Romeo's, except for she has a small rose next to the larger one, and t are no stones on the base. She has the same color of sculptured hair. It is braided in two braides in intricate detail, that fall down her back, approximately 5" in length. The back of her hair w the braids are gatd has a large baby blue bow, as well as the ends of her braids. She has a gold band around her head, and above that is a strand of ivory leaves in various colors of green. This extends to the back of her head. Her eyes are blue , and her lips are light orange. The facial features and eyes are basically just like Romeo's. She may have a bit more rose-color to her cheeks. She is wearing a beautiful long dress that matches Romeo's outfit. It has a white low-cut ruffeled round neckline, which reveals her ivory skin. Below the white ruffel is a blue stripe with lines, trimmed with a tiny gold stripe in the middle. The bodice has the same baby blue wide stirpe with lines down the front and around her waist. It has a gold design down the front of it, but the design is different from Romeo's.
