ANTIQUE LALIQUE FRANCE ART GLASS PERFUME BOTTLE MAIDENS Fresh From a Fabulous South Florida Estate! No Reserve, Ever! Antique 20th C R. Lalique France Art Glass Perfume Bottle. Classic Art Nouveau in both design and style. 5 exotic young maidens, in raised high relief prominently featured around the bottle with a subtle flat blue wash. Each maiden wonderfully posed, each wearing long flowing sheer garments, well groomed hairdos and all bare footed. Gold washed metal cap with original atomiser fittings and attached chain. Appropriately marked around the metal collar. Raised block letter molded signature on the bottom. Must have for any serious, advanced, dedicated Lalique France Perfume Bottle Collector Enthusiast. As quoted by Francois Coty -1906 - Lalique 's famous friend and collaborator " Give a woman the best product you can compound. Present it in a perfect container [ beautifully simple, but of impeccable taste], charge a reasonable price for it and a great business will arise such as the world has never seen". Signed: Molded signature on bottom - Made in France. R Lalique. Collar area round cap with the words - Made in France . Brevete S.G.D.G. Le Parisien. The letter F. Arrow symbol. Letter O. Measures: About 6 1 /8" in height. Condition: Very Good. No repairs. Cap area broken. Clear evidence of gold gilt loss around the cap thus showing the base metal beneath.
