This is an unusual & rare, three mold blown, antique pedestal cake plate c.1870 with a delicate hand holding the vertical pedestal base. The bottom of the pedestal is decorated with a series of half-rounds & the columnar part has a raised floral surface around which is placed a slender hand, all of which supports a 10 1/2" in diameter cake plate with scalloped edges and a deep rim. This cake plate is 8 1/2" high & its base is 5" in diameter. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs but with, to be expected with such an early peice, small surface scratches on the plate from many happy years of use. Buyer agrees to pay $12.00 S&H.
