ANTIQUE PORTABLE VICTORIAN SECRETARY DESK!!
This auction is for an elegant and stunning Gothic Design, Olive Wood Veneer Portable Secretary Desk dating from around 1880! It has a bookend front, bottom drawer and applied brass lock and side carrying handles. Absolutely beautiful interior compartments for envelopes, stationary, pens, etc! The pen tray lifts out to expose a hidden compartment! The day, date, and month are also displayed at the top and all of the Original Cards are Present!! The inside of the doors also hold papers and larger envelopes. The drawer is extraordinarily finely dovetailed! The key fits the lock, but does not activate it. This piece is in incredible condition, although it does have some veneer loss. When closed it measures 11.5" front to back x 15"H x 15.5"W. Open it measures 29.5"W. Over the next several weeks I will be listing an incredible collection of extraordinary antiques.
