Rare Old Antique Pottery made from one of the Satsuma clan. 1880 was the year the pottery was made.

Japanese Satsuma pottery globular incense burner (Koro) raised on 3 curved legs with monster mask knees; the body with with two opposed lion masks and the animals' tongue forming long handles, the lid with three shaped apertunes and with and with large seated lion finial; with enamels design on sides of two large panels with figures. Please continue to read the insurance appraisal.

The appraisal documents t is a small chip on the lion's tail and a large repaired chip to inner rim of lid extending to hairline crack on lid's surface.

The appraisal value was $3000.00 on 5/14/2003.

The appraisor has experience in antique asian art since 1975. The appraisal comes with the sale of the pottery.

The dolls or other items I ship are fragile. They need to be packed well and some require special packing needs to ship safely to the buyer. The cost of their packing needs are included in the handling shipping cost.

This item will not qualify for combined shipping. It will need to be shipped individually.

I am happy to combine shipping only on items that end in 5 days, our invoiced together and can be shipped together. Do not pay anything until finished bidding and then request a combine shipping invoice. The most exspensive shipping price is full price and the other items will be discounted by 1/4 of the full price.

I ship worldwide. The worldwide buyer pays for shipping and insurance cost.

Insurance is optional for the USA buyer and will be added to the shipping cost at the end of the auction. Please inform the seller if you want insurance. The shipping cost for all USA buyers includes the cost of a tracking number and all shipped items will have a tracking number.
