Art glass collectors, is another gorgeous Quezal piece with fantastic Art Nouveau sterling overlay in what appear to be ancathus leaves and scrolls. The base is signed with the fancy Quezal etched mark with the squiggly line underneath and is absolutely guaranteed to be authentic and of the period. The glass of this piece is in excellent condition, especially for its age of 100+ years, with no chips. cracks or repairs of any kind. T is one very tiny piece of silver overlay, about 1/4 inch in size, missing from a leaf on the underside of the vase, below the monogram cartouche, which has never been inscribed. The missing piece is totally out of one's view, but it is a minor flaw and needs to be noted. And, in the exact spot w the tiny piece of overlay is missing, t is a minute 5mm scratch that likely occurred when the overlay came off. Again, both tiny flaws are below the sight line when this piece is on a table or shelf, but they are t, nonetheless. Otherwise, the sterling overlay is all intact and affixed firmly to the glass --- nothing is loose. The vase measures 4.25" tall by 2.25" wide at the hips, and the mouth at the top is a little more than 2.00" in diameter. The glass surface on the base that has the fancy early Quezal mark is 1.00" in diameter. Please feel free to call me with any questions: Terry @ .
