Up for auction is a beautiful Antique Tiffany & Co Carriage clock. This lovely, working clock was passed on to us from my grandparents a few years back but tough times mean we must part with it. What has been told to us by my parents is that the clock was a gift to my grandmother and is a rare Tiffany & Co Carriage clock due several distinct features that differ from most similar model French made Tiffany & Co clocks particularly the use of Arabic numerals as apposed to roman numerals on the dial. It also has its original Key. If you are a clock enthusiast, you may understand this, unfortunately my wife and I know little about antique clocks. As we know little about clocks, I cannot say how well it runs although taking it out of careful storage and winding it up it runs for many days and chimes at regular intervals and appears to keep accurate time. My father tells me that as with most antique clocks it would not be a bad idea to have it cleaned, oiled and adjusted. A brief look over the clock, I can see no chips cracks or scratches at all. It measures about 4.5 in. tall (5.5 in. to the top of the handle).I can see the following markings on the clock; Arabic numerals dial on white enameled face reads Tiffany & Co. just above the hands and France just under the dial.
