Splendid, heavy crystal paperweight with nice decorative two torsades with four-segment setup made by four pricked air bubbles on genuine cobalt blue cushion and a white torsade. Two torsades are laying one on top of the other, with a white center cane. Antique Val Saint Lambert paperweights are usually shown only one torsade. you can find two torsades in one weight together. All is wonderful decorated on a genuine cobalt blue cushion. In real it is a double overlay cushion from blue and white crystal - like Baccarat and Saint-Louis . Diameter: 3.74" / 9.5 cm Height: 2.36" / 6 cm 2.3 lbs approx. / 1040 g Super-magnum paperweight Val Saint Lambert made the best handcrafted Belgian Paperweights I ever have seen: Huge size, heavy crystal, colorful nice millefiori canes and torsades. The high dome and the flat cutted and polished base have little fine scratches depending from usual using by the age of more than 100 years. But in general in good condition, no cracks, little chips only on the polished bottom as usual on glass items which are 100 years old. Some gentle using scratches on top - you can feel them better with the finger nail than seeing them. It is still a great antique paperweight from the 19th century, made by the well known Glassworks Val Saint Lambert in Belgium . The torsades (on top the red, blue, green on white one; below the just white one) are laying on below the other. Worldwide shipping by DHL Air Mail Parcel Service - USA $ 44; full amount insured. Post-Versand: Deutschland e 7 versichert / Europa e 13 Error correction: That weight has not a flat polished base, but a hollow cut and polished bottom.
