Rare old Villeroy & Boch German spatterware or stickware plate. Circa early to mid 1900's soft paste. Outstanding colors and pattern. In very good condition with no chips and no cracks. Shows VERY light utensil marks in center. VERY light age discoloration to white background along border.Marked on back: Villeroy & Boch, Wallerfangen in the Villeroy & Boch marking. Also impressed under the glaze is: B or number 8 and M 31/2 B. Measures 9 and 1/4 inches in diameter. Wonderful old plate to hang or display in an old PA. country cupboard!
