From my personal collection is this exceptional and rare vintage/antique large child-size Hoosier kitchen cabinet with white enamel top edged in black with a wood roll. Complete with black metal straps along the sides that connect the two-door cabinet top to the two-door cabinet base, just like the full-size ones! Inside the roll space is a little shelf, in the base cabinet the middle shelf pulls out. Made of solid wood (looks mostly like pine) and plywoods. I don't know if this is a salesman's sample as it would be difficult to carry around to show customers, it could be a doll furniture piece, but it seems too large for most dolls. I think it probably is a one-of-a-kind cabinet lovingly made for a specific child by a parent or grandparent. Stands 37 1/2" high, 22 1/4" wide, 7" deep step-back top, 16" deep from back to front of enamel shelf, 14" deep base. To help show size, the last photos show the Hoosier next to my standard-size black stove (on the left), the cabinet stands 1 1/2" higher then the stove, and the last photo shows my rather fat Basset Hound, Gracey, in front of the Hoosier, she can barely reach the enamel top. Overall in very nice condition; shows mild to normal wear from little loving hands (including my Granddaughters!); cabinet doors open and close easily; original hardware; enamel top is in remarkable condition considering its age and use, only two tiny surface chips, a few light scratches and spots, all are hardly noticable; roll needs a little TLC or possibly some WD40 to help it move up and down easier as it gets stuck and needs gentle coaxing; roll doesn't completely retract, three slats always show. Hoosier mostly needs a good overall cleaning, also could use a little easy-to-do interior work such as repainting the inside of the top cabinet and inside the roll area. This is just a wonderful piece, to be enjoyed by a young girl or a mature one!!! Selling at NO RESERVE , SATISFACTION GUARANTEED (read policy below)!!
