For your consideration we have a rare art deco pin cushion with a porcelain full lady flapper doll.... she is dressed in a pink/lavender 1920's dress with maroon trim..her high heels match the trim on her dress... she has the typical 20's hair style and makeup ... she is sitting on a cushion made with pink ribbon trimmed with black on the very edge that has been ruffled all around... the last row is black ribbon, also ruffled.. t are two rosette type decorations made with gold colored metal thread..hanging from the center are wound threads with a cone shape bead followed by a round bead on the end... the round beads are losing the black/gold/orange paint .. the little cone shaped ones are nice wood color... on the ankle of the left leg is a small scrape, the white porcelain can be seen... it is very small and I didn't see it until I was checking the pictures...other than that the entire doll and pin cushion are in excellent condition... Wonderfully made and has been well taken care of...The doll is approximately 2'' x 2-1/2'' ... the pin cushion with the doll is approximately 4-1/4'' wide at the bottom and 3-7/8'' high. Maker is unknown since part of the doll in set inside of the cushion.. I would say Germany, if I had to guess....Shipping in the US first class $2.50 ... Thank you for looking... |
