You are bidding on a large, vintage, very rare and early Arts & Crafts FULPER art pottery 3 handled bulbous vase. This is simply a fine, superb example of this very hard to find pottery. A must have for the serious collector. The vase has an incredible satin matte / matt olive and mint green crystalline glaze which drips down over a a very rich dark sage colored background. The size of this vase is very impressive as are the 3 handles handles giving it a earthy, organic look and feel which epitomizes the arts & crafts movement. This color of this vase is just perfect to compliment your matte green collection of Grueby, Teco, Rookwood, Weller and Roseville pottery. It is ink stamped on the base with the Fulper racetrack logo as seen in the photo below. It measures 6 1/2 inches tall by 8 1/4 inches across the widest. As seen in the photos below you will see 2 base chips. One that measures 1/4 of an inch on the outer rim of the base and another that measures 1/8 of an inch on the inner part of the base rim. Otherwise this vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs to the top rim, handles or the body of the vase. Also for accuracy sake t are a couple of tiny, tiny glaze pops that were made at the time of manufacture. Any white or yellow spots are from camera glare only.
