Rare Arts & Crafts Mission Oak/Art Nouveau Cabinet~1915
One Of A Matching Pair!! This is one of a matching pair of cabinets custom made in France in the early 1900's. You don't need a period home to show these off in! These would look great in a modern kitchen adding some real antique charm to todays homes! ~ Like we said, this is one of a matching pair. We are only selling this one piece in this auction. If you are the winning bidder and want the second piece, we will offer it to you at the reserve price of this one,...no matter what price this ultimately sells for! As usual, we put our reserves as low as possibe, so you can always bid with confidence! ~ This cabinet has it all! Tastefully designed with equal elements of Arts & Crafts with Art Nouveau, with loads of storage space, this makes for a very stylish yet practical piece of furniture! The keyhole and beveled mirrors lighten up the natural oak color while adding interest to the overall design. We particularly like the Arts & Crafts hardware accenting the door carvings and pierced feet treatments. The classic Art Nouveau & Crafts carved flowers are very well done and graceful. Please also note the pierced carved flowers on the sides too! This cupboard is repleat with visual interest, so we'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking! The condition is very well preserved in its original finish, and also very sturdy and well built. Its companion piece is identical and in the same fine condition. This massive piece comes apart in two pieces, for ease of transport. ~ Condition is fine, original and sturdy. The dimensions are 101 1/2" high, 55 1/2" wide, and 23 1/2" deep. The counter height is 41 1/2". The very best of luck and make sure to check out our other unique auctions of Mission, Victorian and Early furniture! We also take checks and MO's....checks must clear:-) Click to Remember Lily Click to read an article about us in the eBay Chatter
