C-159 Original entrant's guide and instruction book for the 2200km "Tatra-Adria" rally of 1913. This event started and ended in Budapest, and was sanctioned by the Royal Hungarian Automobile Club. Meant to be launched as a yearly event, only one was held before the outbreak of the First World War, and the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian empire after the war put a damper on reviving the event. A considerably rare pre-WWI program. (76) pages on deluxe bonded paper, with hinged route map at rear. In the original cloth-covered paper wrappers, presumably the cloth was used to make this durable in the open cars of this era. Rare! This item ships from GERMANY via standard registered mail to bidders within Europe, and via registered or insured airmail or surface mail to customers throughout the world.
