RARE 1975 LAST GASP AMPUTEE LOVE NUMBER 1 BANNED ADULT UNDERGROUND COMIC BOOK NO RESERVE! You are viewing an extremely rare, hard to find, and scarce First Printing - First Edition of The Last Gasp Underground Comics 'Amputee Love' Number One. I've yet to come across another copy of this incredible underground comic book, and I've only heard of it listed in other people's search lists. I have seen it in a European book of Underground Comics, but that is the extent of it. This First Issue copy is in very good condition, as it had been hiding in an old warehouse in Canada for over 30 years! Check out the two pictures of this comic. For obvious reasons of modesty, I've blocked out some of the body parts of the folks on the front cover, you'll just have to see the actual cover to see how everything looks. (But I'm sure you'll understand what's going on with just a passing glance.) To say this 1975 Underground Comic Book is extremely graphic is putting it mildly. I'd found it in the Spring of 2006 and did a little research on it. is what I have compiled for information on it. This comic book was banned for sale in several United States and Canada due to its very graphic content. Several comic dealers in the state of New York were jailed for merely having this book in their stores. In Canada, two comic store owners from Toronto were arrested, jailed and held without bail for selling this comic. They were fined the maximum amounts for possession and sale of banned material. Much of the print run of this first issue of Amputee Love Number 1 was confiscated and destroyed by The Establishment. The themes of this comic are graphic amputee sex, amputee nudity, amputee relationships, amputee stereotypes and several other topics that can't be described. This is the back cover, which is an extremely detailed 'Dealer McDope - The Official Dealer McDope Dealing Game' Parody. Much thought and detail went into the covers of this comic book, but it's pretty easy to see just why it was banned in 1975. Last Gasp Comics are still some of the most sought after comics by Underground Comic Fans the world over. I'm pretty sure it'll be safe to say that t are very few copies of the 1975 Amputee Love #1 still around.
