Up for Auction is a Early 18th Century Antique Signed German Pewter Charger. This beautiful antique 18th century pewter charger has an outstanding etched/cut design, BORDER: framed portrait of man with ruffle-lace collar, pairs of crowned faces with ringed lions on all four sides, 2 horned creatures, framed monogram each side, framed family cartouche with a palm clover flower design thru out, CENTER: two whimsical figures leaning on a shield with rooster on the inside, measuring 15 inches across with makers mark on the back, please see pictures below, Schloss Strass Zillertal is hand written on the back. Overall it is in good condition, with expected wear, minimal dings, nice patina, well balanced in design, displaying beautifully being an addition to any Early Antique Pewter Collection.
