This fantastic and rare enamel box was manufactured by Halcyon Days, England and was specially commissioned for A.S.Cooper & Sons of Bermuda. The box was made in a very limited edition of only 100 of which this is #25. The box was made to commemorate the 375th Anniversary of the settlement of Bermuda in 1609 (1609-1984). The box shows a wonderful hand painted picture on the lid of the 'Sea Venture' (The Flag Ship of Admiral Sir George Somers' fleet). The painting was taken from an original oil painting by Eldon Trimmingham III. The base of the box comes in a pale blue speckled color. It measures almost 3" long x 2-1/8" deep x 1-3/8" tall. This is truely an exceptional piece and rarely do they come up for sale. When new these boxes were over $500. It comes with its Halcyon Days presentation box but t is no paperwork / certificate. Its condition is fantastic and as new as the day it was made, no damage what so ever. Don't miss the chance to add this to your collection.
