From the estate of an deceased early Palmer Graduate comes this gem: The Palmer School of Chiropractic AnnouncementChiropractic Fountain HeadDavenport Iowa USA This is from the 1930's and it is a book that was sent out to prospective students to capture thier attention and encourage them to attend Palmer - persuade them of how great it will be.... These are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DIFFICULT to come by. I own a few from different years and this is one I had 2 of. Front cover is beautiful with the GOLD EMBLEMS of BJ and DD Inside has photos of Faculty including Dave Palmer, Vice-President (must be about 25 years old in this photo) as well as all the other Pioneers like H.C. Chance, H.C. Hender, W.L. Heath, A.H. Hender, K. Cronk, P. A. Remier, Ralph Evans, Galen Price, Lyle Sherman The book goes into all the classes offered at Palmer with photos of actual classes in session, photos of WOC radio that I hadn't seen before, photos of the athletics teams, goes over course of instruction and how much Palmer costed at the time (YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS - WOW ARE STUDENTS TODAY RIPPED OFF), AWESOME photo of BJ Palmer in front of a class of a few hundred that I have never seen before, photos and information on BJ's printery w he printed all these books and many of the green books and his booklets, etc, living expenses (about $1.25/day), employment read more
