This item is about as rare as they get. It is circa 1970 and promotional only in VERY limited issue. For those unaware, Blodwyn Pig is Mick Abraham's incredible post Jethro Tull band; he was Tull's guitarist on only the first album in 1968 (pre Martin Barre). This may well be your only opportunity to own this medal. It measures 1 3/16" across the heavy metal medallion itself; it is about 2 7/8" long including the red, white, and blue ribbon. T is a brass pin secured on the top reverse of the ribbon. The ribbon and medal itself are both in pristine condition. The front of the medallion features the Blodwyn Pig logo: a pig head with shades, headphones, nose ring, and a cigarette hanging from his lips. The back states boldly: Blodwyn Pig, with the A&M logo underneath. This is no cheap imitation, it is the real deal and you will not likely ever see another. What a fabulous gift for your favorite fan...you.
